It is advised to have 1 wall stay for each 10 sections of radiator.

For odd numbers, the aesthetics of at least 2 wall stays will make the radiator look balanced. For example; a 7 section radiator would have 2 wall stays ; a 13 section radiator would have 2 wall stays ; a 18 section radiator would have 2 wall stays; a 23 section radiator could have 2 or 3 wall stays.

It is advised to secure your cast iron radiator to the wall to protect your installation and pipeworks or it could void your warranty, please check the manufacturer's guidelines for more information.
